Managing Consultant

Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Managing Consultant will be responsible for the continuing development of the Strategic Analysis client offering and for the delivery of Metapraxis projects in the Retail & FMCG industries. He or she will also be responsible for managing & developing a team of analysts and junior consultants and will be required to pick up responsibilities in other offerings and industries on an ad hoc basis. The role responsibilities include:
- Gaining an effective knowledge of Metapraxis software and business analysis techniques
- Responsibility for the Strategic Analysis Offering, including the development of methodologies, marketing materials, PR, training, and, working in partnership with the Business Development function, developing the go-to-market plan and achieving the revenue growth targets for this offering
- Retail & FMCG client management and project delivery, including responsibility for selling project extensions and supporting the Business Development function in making new sales in these sectors
- Management and coaching of direct reports and consultants assigned on a project basis, rising in line with the growth objectives as new clients are won
- Representing Metapraxis publicly, through published articles and conference addresses
Skills & Experience required
You will have 5-7 years of experience in analysis-orientated consulting or industry positions. You show the ability to apply leadership skills, and have qualities of self-reliance and highly effective teamwork. You will have excellent project management and client management skills, including a proven ability to generate extension revenues from your client base.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary will depend on level and experience.
- A managed career path through Principal Consultant to Associate Director over 4-5 years, dependent on performance.
- Training available: financial, technical, management, industry specific expertise, business development skills and negotiation (as part of the Metapraxis Performance Development Review process).
