    Simon Bittlestone, Managing Director

    Simon joined Metapraxis in June 2010, tasked with developing a new growth strategy and managing the commercial development of the business. He was appointed Managing Director in 2012. Prior to Metapraxis, Simon spent 5 years in the outsourcing industry at Xchanging, in a number of roles, the last of which was in running the group’s revenue growth analysis team. Simon is a trained management accountant (CIMA) and holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Brasenose College, Oxford.

    Andrew leads our consulting business and is responsible for offering development, client service and account development. He has been with Metapraxis since 1988 having previously worked in financial services with UK and US banks. He has extensive experience providing business insight to boards and management teams across a wide range of industries. Andrew studied Physics at Balliol College Oxford and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Warwick Business School.

    Tony joined Metapraxis in 1995 after five years working for Logica on projects including an intelligent front end for multiple mainframe applications, and a spell developing a revolutionary new concept in estate agency software. He became a director in 1999 and leads the development of the Metapraxis business analysis and simulation tools. Tony graduated from City University, London with a degree in Business Computing Systems.

    John joined Metapraxis in February 2012 as the Technology Solutions Director, responsible for developing our software strategy. John spent 6 years at Xchanging as Global Head of IT Outsourcing, UK Technology Director and CIO UK Insurance, working with a number of London Market Insurance clients. Prior to that, John worked at Accenture and was involved in a number of IT consulting projects spanning the investment banking and oil sectors. John graduated from Oxford with a BA MA in Engineering, Economics & Management in 1995.

    David joined Metapraxis in October 2004 and is now Principal Consultant. He has been involved in major project assignments, designing and delivering executive information, management information and planning dashboards in many sectors including Retail, Banking, Advertising, Mining, Health and Property. David graduated from The University of Bristol with a MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering in 2004.

    Kate joined Metapraxis in June 2011 as Managing Consultant. Kate has worked in Strategic Consulting, Quantitative Analytics and Research for over 8 years and has managed projects across multiple verticals including Retail, Consumer Goods, Utilities, Telco and Private Equity. Kate graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 2003 with a First Class degree in Economics and joined Metapraxis from Accenture’s Marketing Sciences practice.

    Alan joined Metapraxis in August 2006, after graduating in Economics from the University of Essex. Prior to his degree course he completed his Assocation of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification with the Chartered Accountants, Day, Smith and Hunter. Alan has extensive experience of working with clients in the Advertising and Marketing Communications, Manufacturing and FMCG industries.

    Sarah is responsible for the financial management of the company as well as personnel and company secretarial matters. Sarah qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and worked in the industry for a number of years before joining Metapraxis in 2000. Sarah graduated with a BSc Hons in Psychology from the University of Surrey.

    Richard joined the Technology Solutions Division of Metapraxis as a software developer and became Deputy Development Manager in 2002. He has extensive experience of software architecture, design and development, focussing on the Windows platform in C++ and C# and on web development using ASP.NET. Richard graduated from Cambridge University with a PhD in Radio Astronomy and an MA In Physics.

    Anouska joined Metapraxis in 2012 as Marketing Manager. Anouska is responsible for developing the Metapraxis marketing strategy and aligning its external communication with changing market needs. Prior to Metapraxis, Anouska worked as an independent consultant, advising small businesses across a variety of marketing and publishing themes. Her industry experience includes bid management and co-ordination for the sales team at Xchanging and marketing & administration at Saatchi & Saatchi.

    Robert is founder and Chairman of Metapraxis. He is the author of two Cambridge University Press books: the award-winning “Odysseus Unbound: The Search for Homer’s Ithaca” and the recently published “Financial Management for Business: Cracking the Hidden Code”. This provides readers with an intuitive understanding of how business financial management actually works, and it embodies many of the principles on which innovation at Metapraxis is based. He holds an MA in Economics from Christ’s College, Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
