Robert Bittlestone – Chairman

Robert is founder and Chairman of Metapraxis. He is the author of two Cambridge University Press books: the award-winning “Odysseus Unbound: The Search for Homer’s Ithaca” and the recently published “Financial Management for Business: Cracking the Hidden Code”. This provides readers with an intuitive understanding of how business financial management actually works, and it embodies many of the principles on which innovation at Metapraxis is based. He holds an MA in Economics from Christ’s College, Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

Andrew Mosely - Chief Operating Officer

Andrew first joined Metapraxis as a consultant after spending four years working in International Banking. Following a spell with a strategy consultancy he rejoined Metapraxis in 1997 and has been Chief Operating Officer since 2003.  He has extensive experience of working with clients in the Financial Services, FMCG, Engineering and Professional Services sectors. Andrew graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Physics.

David Hammond – Principal Consultant, Head of Management Information

David joined Metapraxis in October 2004 and is currently responsible for the Management Information client offering. He has been involved in major project assignments in many sectors including Retail, Banking, Advertising, Mining, Health and Property. David graduated from The University of Bristol with a MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering in 2004.

Tony Kirke – Chief Technology Officer

Tony joined Metapraxis in 1995 after five years working for Logica on projects including an intelligent front end for multiple mainframe applications, and a spell developing a revolutionary new concept in estate agency software. He became a director in 1999 and leads the development of the Metapraxis business analysis and simulation tools. Tony graduated from City University, London with a degree in Business Computing Systems.” “

Richard Blundell – Principal Software Developer

Richard joined the Technology Solutions Division of Metapraxis as a software developer and became Deputy Development Manager in 2002. He has extensive experience of software architecture, design and development, focussing on the Windows platform in C++ and C# and on web development using ASP.NET. Richard graduated from Cambridge University with a Ph.D. in Radio Astronomy and an M.A. In Physics.

Sarah Freeman – Financial Controller

Sarah qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and worked in industry for a number of years before joining Metapraxis in 2000 as Financial Controller. Sarah is responsible for the financial management of the company as well as assisting with personnel and company secretarial matters. Sarah graduated with a BSc Hons in Psychology from the University of Surrey.

Simon Bittlestone – Head of Commercial

Simon joined Metapraxis in June 2010 to head up the commercial function which is responsible for Corporate Strategy, Business Development and the commercial structure of our client offerings. Prior to Metapraxis, Simon spent 5 years in the outsourcing industry at Xchanging, where he was responsible for the Group’s revenue growth strategy and analysis function. Simon is a trained management accountant (CIMA) and holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Brasenose College, Oxford.
