Metapraxis
Helping you manage the future
CEOs, CFOs and other senior executives are charged with the task of improving the future performance of their businesses.
To achieve this they need to have forward-looking management information that provides insight into future performance risks.
While data warehouses and business intelligence tools provide the building blocks for a solution, experience shows that their implementation needs to be driven by a top-down business vision if these senior management needs are to be met.
Bringing information alive
Metapraxis can help you to make very rapid improvements to the business relevance and future focus of your management information by:
- Anticipating and understanding the key questions that you ask about performance
- Adapting our sector-specific techniques to answer these questions in the most intuitive way
- Delivering a working prototype within a matter of days
- Working with your finance and IT teams to embed this solution within their existing tools.
This enables you to benefit immediately from a tested business approach that evolves naturally into a robust and permanent company solution.

In-house partnership
Our techniques involve rapidly delivering best-of-breed analyses of your own management information, using your existing data repositories from software vendors such as Hyperion, Cartesis, OutlookSoft, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle and Cognos.
We help you to turn this data into actionable management messages that diagnose and display the key issues requiring attention.
By working in partnership with your finance and systems professionals, we help them to provide you with very rapid visibility into this data and its likely future trends.
We employ state of the art technology to deliver an immediate working prototype. This becomes a vehicle for learning-by-doing, enabling your managers to identify the capabilities that will deliver the most value to your business.
Developing this prototype does not impact upon your in-house IT resources because the initial business diagnoses are created on an outsourced basis.
Once you have chosen the diagnoses that are the most effective at identifying key issues within your business, you can then engage us to work with your project team to ensure that these forward-looking analyses are successfully embedded into your in-house company project.
Next steps
1. We recommend that a sponsoring director should take on the role of project champion.
2. A short initial meeting or telephone conference call can identify whether our techniques will be of assistance to you.
3. We then sign a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement and investigate your current management data.
4. We apply our expertise to answer the key questions about your company's performance that you have identified with us. This will usually result in the construction of a forward-looking 'Proof of Principle' solution grounded in your business questions.
5. If you are confident that the completion of this prototype will meet your needs, we will then work with your staff to implement it using their preferred technology.
The 'Proof of Principle' prototype at step 4 can usually be delivered within 2-3 working weeks of our initial meeting with you.
