Climate challenge post pandemic

The pandemic has impacted people's lives globally and highlighted our vulnerability to these kinds of existential threats. This whitepaper looks at how this period has changed the Boards' view on tackling the Climate Challenge.

Who could have predicted just 12 months ago that nearly half the UK workforce would be working from home on dining room tables or in spare rooms, trying to juggle online meetings with childcare, and summer holidays to European hotspots were a distant memory? However, this is the reality we find ourselves in after a year that will have had a significant impact on almost every person on the planet.The beginning of the coronavirus pandemic saw the major stock market indexes lose a third of their value in just a few weeks as governments worldwide were forced to shut down economies in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus. Some were more successful than others, largely depending on how quickly they were to act.
